SCCM 2007 – There may be too many steps in the task sequence object.

So… This was a new one for me.

Logged into ConfigMgr, went to edit a task sequence and BAM- a popup error. “There may be too many steps in the task sequence object”. After a bit of troubleshooting, the fix was really simple: from the MDT folder in the start menu, re-run ConfigMgr Integration. Fixed the problem instantly.
